When using a GPS module on your drone the startup is slow, and they are susceptible to interference. A pilot must wait many minutes for a GPS fix. To do this, everything must be powered, which drains the battery and causes extra interference. It also has potential risk to cause overheating issues to your quad components. In addition, when you finish a flight cycle and change the quad battery, the GPS needs to get a hot-start fix as the quad battery disconnected. Features:

Acts as a power source for your GPS unit – Power up your GPS from this device and get satellite lock while you are setting up your gear without powering up your VTX that prevents you from burning out your VTX/Vista/Air Unit.

Acts as a lost model buzzer – VIFLY Finder 2 function was embedded into this device, it can work as a standard buzzer that controlled via your radio when the quad battery is connected, it also can work as a standalone buzzer that help you find the lost drone when the drone lipo ejected.

Works for both 3.3V and 5V GPS unit – No matter your GPS output voltage is 3.3V or 5V, VIFLY GPS-mate can work for it. Simply select the voltage via the switch.

Recharges during normal use – No need to charge the GPS-mate separately. When you are flying the quad, it can take over GPS-mate to power the GPS and recharge the battery of GPS-mate.

GPS is always on even when switching the quad battery – If no GPS-mate, the GPS needs to get a hot-start fix when you switch the quad battery after flying a cycle. With GPS-mate, it can keep the GPS always on, never needs to get another fix for the whole session.
